Turbidity filter

Each water filter application can present a unique set of challenges. Waterite’s family of automatic filters can help meet them all. Available with a wide selection of media, Waterite filters can be tailored to meet individual customer needs, with media beds up to 4 CF and service flow rates up to 14.0 GPM. Waterite automatic filters and conditioners are also commonly used for pre-treatment of commercial reverse osmosis systems.

• Multi-media sand and gravel filtration for the reduction of turbidity (suspended particulate) to approximately 15 microns. Crushed aggregate filtration (Filter Ag™, crushed pumice) for the reduction of fine suspended particulate to approximately 30 microns.
  
• Waterite’s CENTURION,CENTURION ‘C’ and CENTURION ‘7’ high performance, acid washed activated carbon filters are commonly used for the reduction of chlorine and its by-products, THMs, VOCs, organic colour, H2S, odours and particulate.
